Hi noob question.. how can viewing picture files on ST? like bmp,jpg ect?
needed special (converting) file before? or some rdy pic viewer ?

Watching some jpg with 16 million colors on STE is not best idea - will look awful.
Maybe there is some SW what can do it without conversion to usual Atari formats as Degas etc. But it will work very slow.
What's the point in this ?

no 16M colors ,256 (or grey) ,320X240 is ok..
The ST,s what files pics support? and how can converting that?
how can view pics on ST ,need accessories,program,or direct from desktop..?
Edit: i see for PCS files ,how to open thats?

Best is to use Degas or Neochrome format. PC SW can convert to.

pcsview can do the job for .pcs

There are many many files formats the ST can deal with, so many many tools available.. Depends of what files you want to open/convert of course

AIM, GEMVIEW, Speed of Light, Pixel are few examples..

thanks guys,
I have found also the "Deluxe paint viewer" can open pics as [.iff] at 16colors and more..
