Hey Petari,

I have a small(ish) request for your adaptation of Frontier Elite II which I think deserves some worthy consideration ;D

It was discovered while porting the ST version to the Jaguar that some details are missed from the cosmos/universe due to the use of a 9-bit palette vs a 12-bit palette as in the Amiga version.  The actual graphical information is still in the ST version and a small fix to the palette code solved this so the Jaguar displayed the game correctly.

The original topic was located here "http://atariage.com/forums/topic/233799-some-might-say-elite/" but it appears to have been deleted (was only created in the last month) :(

Since we have STe, TT & Falcon with the same available colour palette would it be possible to have a patched version for these machines?  Would be a nice little bonus! 8)

Should have checked YouTube, as here is an example of what I mean:-

If you look at 0:37 into the video, you can see the universe is a darker shade of blue with lighter 'cloud' like formations on the Amiga.  The ST version has the universe as the same lighter colour with no clouds.

But the ST does actually display this internally but gets cut out due to the smaller 9-bit palette.
