Hi,
I finaly have time to test games on my Falcon030 but I am not sure how to download 1179 games!
To download one game I need around 8 second but it is very tedious work.

Is it possible to download them in bundle, or should I try wget? :)

I really don't see why should someone DL lot of games at once.  DL those who plan to test, play in next days. Surely will be not able to even start for short more than 100 in one day.
And there happen updates often, so you may miss them if DL all at once.

thinks the Petari work to make all thats..
My system: Atari STE 4MB, OS: SuperTOS 2.06, HD: US/disk 4gb SDcard ,ppera v0.98 HD drivers, USB mouse adapter by me, PSX controller joy adapter by me,  full list of adaption,s games by Petari.
Second Atari machine: 1040 STF
Other: 2X Lilliput Atari 130 XE

Why to make easy when it can be complicated ;) just jooking :)

It is easy for me to download 1000 games, take out CF card from Falcon, put it in Mac and transfer 1000 games and return CF card to Falcon.
It is better than take out CF card from Falcon for every e.g. 100 games...

I use wget and got copy from Petari web server.

I also thinking how to distribute Atari software from my own web site to others... it would by cool if Atari could have some sort of APT :)
as I read, CosmosEx can download ST floppy images directly from some web site... that is cool but it would be more cool to be able to choose "repositorium", like this Petari one...

And here we can see where the real problem is: people care only how to get easy big number of 'goodies' with minimal effort. I needed to add special page about need for feedback, more testing. That helped just little. I getting now about 2-3 e-mail per month with it. What is great, but far from enough.  Look other thread here, where I asked for testing on TT
http://forum.8bitchip.info/software-17/adaption-games-continue/msg1795/?PHPSESSID=mt51a969779aou1pntf1vmkrb6#msg1795
We really should care more about quality instead quantity.

First step in testing your games on my Falcon is to transfer them from your site to my Falcon, right? :)
So I am searching easiest way to do this.

I will send you emails as I test games. I prefer to test yours "game fixes" because you actively doing them all the time!

Unfortunate I do not have TT anymore.

btw
on my site with Atari programs I made "Notice" field that can be used by others to describe if program work or do not work on their configuration (and for other notes...). But so far nobody use this "Notes"... :( e.g. http://milan.kovac.cc/atari/software/?folder=/DTP and right of monitor you can click on "Notes" to add new one.

As said, really not possible to test many SW in short time. You can DL/copy/depack 1000 games in short time , and then will need months, better years to test it thoroughly. Even just checking if it starts may need some 3-5 minutes per game, what is really not too good idea - should let it run for more . I think that nobody sane can do it more than 50x in 1 day. And we don't have space on server to post 1-2 GB  file. What should be updated regularly - what means updating whole one every week or like.
"Actively all time" - maybe I'm just in period of photo finish now  ;D

I was thinking about some interactive forms where people can  check/uncheck some fields according to experiences, tests, write some comments, but now I think that it will not work. Made some User comments form at Atari Game Archive, for every page/game, and was forced to disable it, because couple spammers. It could be improved with different protections, but doubt that would be worth of time - for rare constructive comments. Not surprised at all that nobody uses your 'notes' .  People just want everything ASAP. And disks have place for all it. Just no time to play, watch, use ... So, why we expect feedback at all  ;D

My aim is not to test them all but rather, when I have time, to find and play game that I love when I was teen :)
It is simple more convenient for me to fire up Falcon and choose one among 1000 games.

---
It would be awesome if we could build 'network system' that would "push" new software (games and apps) to everyone ST. Like some global catalogue with all comments, forms with check/unchecks fields, test... I would like to avoid using Windows/Mac/Linux for putting Atari software on Atari.

btw
biggest spammers on my site are Google bots (and others!). They made fake "downloads" so my counters now show more then 100 downloads of each app, they make fake edits of programs descriptions...

You asked me to make simplified DL page(s), so can DL with some Atari and it's limited WEB browser. I did it. And now you talk about avoiding Win/Mac/Linux ? Forgot Android :-)
And you are worse than Bill Gates, who was first with idea of pushing SW on people's computers  :o  I really don't want that way. Just because it is for Atari it means not that I'm interested (for everything). And of course, it will end with spamming. There are ways to advertise new SW at proper places, so I did not miss anything.

Then, by loading all at once you just lose one of biggest benefits of Internet - alive content, to say so. You will miss updates. And that happened many times - I getting error report for game what I updated 5 years ago. Even did not remember it exactly. Checking, looking old versions, when I updated it, and then need to explain to people that maybe DL it again, even if it hurts  ;D  Surely hurts not so much as wasting time for outdated version.
I don't think that there is people who needs to turn on his modern computer just for DL-ing some Atari game.  They are in regular usage - like this - visiting forums, e-mail, DL some movie, serial, online watching diverse stuff (may replace TV), etc.  Couple clicks and you got it. Testing will take much more time.  Well, some with SCSI drives may need more effort to transfer it on Atari, I know.  Still faster than it was in 1988, when I needed to wait 1 week for floppies to arrive.
The real problem may be that new PCs and Atari are more and more far each from other. No more serial, parallel ports, only USB, LAN. Although, all it is already solved for Atari too - NETusBee for instance . Now with Pen drive support.

Yes, that was step in right direction :)
but Atari is rather slow for even simple webpages.
(this is reason why I propose some kind of push system that is based on internet but not on web.)
e.g. Sqward make great UIP-Tool that relief Atari from work when transferring files from PC/Mac/Linux to ST over NETusBee http://ataricrypt.blogspot.com/2016/04/uip-tool.html it would be even greater if UIP-Toll could get Atari games directly from your website to Atari with all needed metadata regarding current state of patch, testing... It would be even better if users could give comments regarding game directly from Atari. All this could exclude using PC/Mac/Linux, you could do everything on your ST - getting game, testing game, leaving comments, getting updates... it would be zillion times simpler then this process:
Petari website > download to PC/Mac/Linux > transfer to ST > getting again on PC/Mac/Linux > Petari website > leave comments (or sending email)

I would rather said: like Larry Ellison https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g_tcdR_pQU "Do not put software in box! Put it on net!" @1:45 :D

Yes, it is a problem.
(this is second reason why I propose some kind of push system that is based on internet but not on web. Atari game and software is finite database - it is not something that has no end.)

This is exactly thing that I would like to be true! :) it is not few clicks to got it on Atari! It is few clicks to get it on PC/Mac/Linux and then transfer it to Atari via floppy, CF card or using LAN cable.

You are right.
